• For online order terms (delivery and payment method), please visit here.

• Due to system processing limitations, the order may not be cancelled or changed after submission.
• Within the promotion period, please enter the respective promotion code to enjoy the offer. Please contact The Preface if you encounter any problem regarding promotion codes. Once the order is placed, you cannot amend or apply promotion code to that order.
• Please clearly enter your name, email address and telephone, and shipping address to ensure that orders can be processed correctly. The Preface is not responsible for any loss suffered due to inaccurate information.
• Additional orders placed even on the same day will be treated as a separate order.
• If the goods ordered are not available, The Preface reserves the right to refuse that order and arrange a refund.
• The product images on this website are for recognition purposes, they may slightly differ from actual products. The Preface will not accept this as a reason for refund.
• If the goods you receive mismatch with your order, please contact The Preface within 3 working days upon receipt for return or replenish arrangement.
• If the product received is defective, please exchange it within 7 working days by returning the product with the receipts to The Preface shop (Mongkok) for replacement. The order is deemed completed if no exchange is made within 7 working days.
• The Preface is not responsible for any errors or problems caused by improper use of products.
• All goods sold only are for personal use and not be used for any commercial purpose. The Preface has the right to refuse orders which are suspected for commercial purposes.
• All content, including but not limited to texts, files, music, audio files, photographs, videos, images, or the content of advertisements, are for online browsing, personal and non-commercial purposes, and are protected by the copyright, trademark, patent and other relevant intellectual property laws. Without the prior written consent, you shall not print, copy, publish or download any part of the content.
• The Preface reserves the right to unilaterally change the above and other terms related to the sale of goods without prior notice.

Product Exchange

Customers who purchase or receive the product within 7 days, if the product is found to have any problems that you need an exchange, you can email info@thepreface.hk with your receipt, name and contact number for follow up. Customers must bring along the original receipt and the goods with intact packaging to The Preface Shop (Mongkok) for exchange.

• The Preface will consider the sufficiency of the reason for product exchange. The exchange will not be processed if it does not meet our exchange policy.
• Customers can exchange once for the same product. We do not accept further exchange of the replacement product.
• In any circumstances, we only offer exchange service, and refunds will not be provided.
• If the customer fails to exchange within 7 days from the purchase, the transaction is deemed completed. The Preface shall not bear any legal responsibility and will not arrange any replacement/exchange.
• The Preface reserves all right of the final decision on goods exchange or relevant matters.

Apologies for NOT accepting exchanges under the following circumstances:

• Goods sold for more than 7 days;
• The product has been opened (except deterioration) or used more than 50%
• Allergic reactions. If customers are sensitive to the products, it may be unsuitable for the customer to use the product. The Preface does not have any liability or bear any associated costs.
• Product that has deteriorated but has been used up more than 50% of the original capacity.
• Product that is not in original condition, damaged or fragmented.
• Product that already shown not accepted for return or with special discount.
• Any free gifts, accessories and trial gifts.
